Inikkum Cholam
I feasted on a sweet corn(inikkum cholam)yesterday that my brother bought while he was in chennai beach.it was really delicious and costs rs.10.this sweet corn is purchased in bulk from nilgiris super market and then deep fried in open fire(my brother told me).so its clean and safe to buy.i really enjoyed it-chappu kottinde saapten.so if u people visit any beach take my word,make sure u eat one.its really tasty and healthy too.

i also love corn. first i read your post i thought you were saying inikkum cholam as in today also cholam. Me and my tamil ;). But i prefer the salted steamed corn. and btw its not deep fried, i think they sort of grill it.
